From our headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska, we have a community giving program that’s made up of three pillars—community partnerships, community donations and community volunteering—and is all about enhancing the lives of children through education, youth programming, healthcare and human services. With the help of employees across the company, Oriental Trading is able to support local nonprofits to do our part in making the Omaha metro an even better place to live, work and play!
Serving our local community is important to be sure, but we’re also committed to bettering lives of humanity around the globe. That’s why we created our corporate giving program to help extend our outreach beyond our backyard. Through this program, nonprofit organizations apply for merchandise certificates to use for fundraising events and educational programs. In 2019 alone, nearly 12,000 merchandise certificates were given to nonprofit organizations. That’s a lot of impact!
It’s no secret that we love any reason to celebrate, but we really get behind celebrations that bring joy to others! We’re especially passionate in our belief that every child deserves a birthday bash that makes them feel special. That’s why we’re very proud to be a sponsor of The Birthday Party Project, a nonprofit that hosts birthday parties for kids in over 60 homeless and transitional facilities across the country!
