About ENA Care Group
At ENA we are passionate about providing quality live-in care to our clients, and have been since 1994. Our carers are the reason we can provide such high quality care, and we strive to hand pick carers that really fit with our company ethos and values.

We are committed to ensuring you have a fulfilling and rewarding career with us, and we promise to support you every step of the way. From interview to placement, ENA’s dedicated team of industry experts are always on hand. We are excited to help you find the perfect job with ENA!
About Us
Founded in 1994 by Clare and Claudio, ENA simply began to help a family friend return home to her husband from hospital. ENA was one of the very first providers of live in care in the United Kingdom and as we have grown, we have never lost sight of our family ethos.

We specialise in providing fully-managed live in care at home to adults who may be elderly or disabled, enabling them to retain the highest degree of independence in the comfortability of their own home.

We have grown organically through word of mouth and positive recommendations. Our consistently good service to our clients and carers has enabled us to become one

ENA has clients throughout England and Wales, and we select, recruit, train and employ our carers to look after their clients’ wishes.

A live-in care job is not your typical 9-5, it requires a special kind of person who always has the interests of others at heart. You have the opportunity to get to know your client on a personal level, and that’s one of the reasons that makes live-in care so rewarding.

Being a carer for ENA is about providing high quality one to one care to our clients, which enables them to remain in the safety and comfort of their own home. It is a demanding but highly rewarding career. Without live-in carers, people who wish to live independently or people who need specialist assistance would be unable to.
Our Values
Enabling - We believe in enabling our clients to achieve the greatest level of independence possible by providing high-quality, person-centred care, using the ‘mum’ test in everything we do

Nurturing - We ensure everyone’s needs are fostered by applying good listening skills, a caring nature and showing compassion and empathy for every individual

Aspiring - Aiming to aspire to greater things, listening to feedback and treating everyone individually and as an equal
Our Team
We take pride in the quality of our carers. We invest in their skills and provide additional training to ensure commitment to their personal development and maintenance of high-quality care delivery.

We believe that the knowledge and experience of our carers can improve the quality of someone’s life.

Each of our carers are carefully selected through our recruitment process. This process includes a face to face interview and a vigorous background check. We are always confident that each of our carers is safe to work before they enter into caring for our clients.

Our HR team checks identity documents, previous work references and completes an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) previously known as a CRB check. Our recruitment team has extensive experience in recognising what we believe are essential characteristics of an excellent live-in carer through our values-based recruitment process.

Carer’s must demonstrate behaviours in-line with the ENA Values coupled with their ability to pass our intensive 5-day training and assessment week. This is taught by experienced trainers and includes an assessment by which they must understand and pass the 19 standards of care set by ENA.

The safety of our clients is paramount and always at the forefront of our recruitment process. We protect the safety of our clients and maintain the highest standard of our carers promoting dignity and respect within the home at all times.
Our Training
Our in depth 5 day training programme gives you the tools, skills and mindset you need to deliver excellent care to our clients.

Training takes place at our Head Office in Welwyn Garden City, led by our expert training coordinator who will guide you through it and answer all your questions throughout the week.

You’ll be taught the Care Certificate and other mandatory training during our training and assessment week, using classroom style teaching. There will also be mandatory e-learning modules to complete prior to training.

The training and assessment week ensures you are taught live-in care skills, care techniques and the knowledge needed to enable our clients to live well and safely at home.

Once you have passed training and assessment week and are ready to be placed in work, you will be fully supported by your case manager. Observation assessments will be carried out in order to check your competence against relevant standards.
