Our centre teams work hard to make sure our customers are kept safe on the road. In our centre’s we offer an Apprenticeship that has been graded as Outstanding by Ofsted. During the Apprenticeship you will gain expertise not only in the technical elements of your role having a good grasp of the practical and theoretical aspects of the vehicle systems you service, but you will also learn excellent telephone, customer handling and effective sales skills, as well as strong problem solving and self-organisation skills.
In our Mobile Operation, we have teams both in the Despatch centre and out on the road. As a business we have invested heavily in our fleet of vans, ensuring that our people have the very latest tools, equipment and systems that they require to carry out their roles. As part of Mobile you won’t just ‘be there’ for our customers – you’ll be in our Despatch centre supporting technicians or out in the field travelling to them to make sure they are kept safe on the road.
At Kwik Fit we provide more hours of automotive training than anyone else in the industry. Over 4,500 members of our staff complete courses at our training centres each year where we provide 18,000 training days – that’s one whole week of training for every member of in-centre staff we employ.
We appreciate how hard our people work to keep our customers safe on the road. We also recognise they need to be rewarded for their hard work, that’s why we offer a range of support and benefits to support our people and their families. This includes an employee assistance programme, an employee reward programme, staff discounts, a life assurance scheme plus much more. Over the last 12 months, thousands of our people did some amazing things to raise over £1million for our selected charity Children with Cancer UK.
