Corporate Giving: Generac has a long-standing history of corporate giving through donating our time and resources to support our local communities by enhancing education at all levels and offering military and veteran support. In addition, Generac supports our employees who are involved in our communities through a unique program called Generac Gives. As part of this program, employees nominate a charity, and together, Generac and the employee support the organization.

GPS Education Partners: Placing a priority on education has been a focal point at Generac for many years, which aligns with the company’s ties as the founder of GPS Education Partners. Since its inception in 2000, GPS Education Partners has served nearly 500 students by providing an alternative, credentialed-based learning program where a student can earn their high school diploma and develop the skill set to advance their career. Students receive instructional training in education centers across Wisconsin and gain valuable work experience from nearby manufacturers. Generac proudly hosts an on-site education center in our Eagle, Wisconsin facility and sponsors several students each school year. 

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society: Our Largest Corporate / Employee Giving Collaboration For the last six years, Generac and its employees stepped up with focus, enthusiasm, creativity and generosity to be the state leader in support of the Wisconsin LLS through our Light the Night charitable-giving campaign. The mission of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Generac and our employees are proud to have contributed over $600,000 in our most recent campaigns, and also literally lit the night by providing all the power and light for all of the Wisconsin Light the Night walks.

United Way: Generac knows our employees and their families benefit from the services that United Way organizations provide. In turn, we support them by participating in a United Way annual campaign. We also work with local United Way organizations to provide onsite volunteer opportunities to our employees and host an annual United Way Campaign. Our most recent being a Shoe Box Stuffing Event, where 200 boxes were assembled and packaged, and contained essential hygiene items for women and older adults in need.

Holiday Giving: 

During the holidays, each of our facilities chooses a different nonprofit organization or family that would benefit from a little extra care this time of year. Most recently, Generac employees stepped up to organize giving trees, toy drives, and collections for local food pantries. Last year alone, our employees provided 696 presents to local families in need.

GENERAC  GIVES

Generac is proud that many of our employees want to give back to their communities. We are dedicated to creating a positive impact in the community. Through our Generac Gives program we assist organizations our employees support.

The program is focused on giving back to community organizations with priorities in two distinct giving categories:

• Enhancing education at all levels
• Military and Veteran support

There are four program award offerings in the Generac Gives family of giving:  

• Generac Gives Match – Generac will match employee donations to nonprofit organizations that align with our giving categories. 
• Generac Gives Doers – Generac supports employees who volunteer for nonprofits organizations that align with our giving categories. Generac will provide a donation of $25 an hour directly to the charity on behalf of our volunteering employee.  
• Generac Gives Products – We are proud of our products and offer employees an opportunity to donate a product to a nonprofit organization that aligns with our giving categories. 
• Generac Gives Grants – Employees can request individual grants for organizations that align with our giving categories.
