We celebrate Warehouse Worker Appreciation Week in February of each year. Our warehouse workers are critical contributors to the success of our distribution business, working side-by-side with our drivers. They do the essential in-person jobs, such as powering machines, packing boxes, overseeing production, checking inventory and ensuring quality control. Throughout Warehouse Worker Appreciation Week, in honor of the critical work they do every day, we recognize our warehouse workers’ efforts to keep our customers satisfied, as well as keep each other and our facilities safe.
Warehouse Worker Bill Kudzmas in our Burlington, New Jersey facilityWe would like to recognize warehouse worker Bill Kudzmas in our Burlington, New Jersey facility. Bill takes his job seriously and wants all receiving to be complete before he goes home. He has shown a knack for figuring out solutions to issues on the warehouse floor from fixing wireless devices to unloading trucks when the freight has shifted.
Distribution Supervisor, Michael Burk, complimented Bill’s hard work ethic and specifically remembered a time earlier this year when numerous team members were off or had called in, but Bill and a co-worker doubled down and stayed late to hold down the fort and delight our customers.

Veritiv celebrates National Truck Driver Appreciation Week each year to show our appreciation for our drivers. Our nearly 600 drivers across the U.S. and Mexico have traveled more than 22 million miles in the past year making deliveries. We understand our drivers have a choice of who to drive for, and we are proud they continue to choose Veritiv!
Our Tampa Driving TeamRecently, Mike Walkenhorst, Senior Vice President of Global Operations connected with our drivers in Tampa. This team is focused on serving our rigid packaging customers throughout central and south Florida. While there, he did a ride along with Melvin who has been with Veritiv for more than 28 years and served within the US Army. Melvin has such a great demeanor and really makes our customers feel appreciated and supported. The team also provided Mike with valuable feedback on how the company can better support our drivers.

We applaud Veritiv Customer Experience teams with Customer Service Week in October of each year. For Customer Service Week, Veritiv celebrates our world-class Customer Experience team. Our Customer Experience and Global Customer Solutions team members ensure our customers experience an unmatched level of service that is our Veritiv way. In this video, you will see many of the faces of our team members that are dedicated to making a difference for our customers.
Jenny Tague, Customer Experience ProfessionalJenny Tague, Customer Experience Professional, is from Bronx, New York, but went to Florida for a vacation and never returned. In 2016, she joined our Paper Customer Experience team in Jacksonville and two years later transitioned to our National Accounts team, handling some of our largest Packaging and Facility Solutions customers. She receives accolades almost weekly for the quality of service she provides.
Veritiv Connects in action. Through Veritiv Connects, our community and philanthropy program, we had 20 volunteers last month give 60 hours in sweat equity by caring for 100+ young trees in Brookrun Park, a public park with trees maintained by Trees Atlanta. Veritiv Connects also hosted an Ask an Arborist Session and learned how to maintain trees in our backyards for safe and sustainable planting seasons.
